In December of 2023, I purchased a Prestige 460 from Chesapeake Yacht. Buying a boat so far from my home of Tampa was not my first choice but I liked the boat and decided that the journey home would be my first adventure. I just returned home from a wonderful 1350 nautical mile trip which spanned 14 days.The boat performed as expected in many different weather/wind conditions. I would say the boat performance exceeded expectations.

I am writing to express my gratitude and thanks to Ian and the Chesapeake Yacht team.

In the beginning, the sales portion of the project was easy and straightforward. I appreciated the fact there were no “surprises’ ‘.

Because the boat was purchased in December, the inspections, “haul out” and winterizing needed extra care which the team took care of. In addition, after the sale we arranged for our Starlink install and boat cleaning to be done from a distance and that was done by CYC without any issues.

Ahead of our trip, Ian spent time with us (again) going over all of the intricacies of the boat and its systems. This proved to be very helpful/

In addition, during our journey we relied on CYC when we had questions on things that were unknown to us. Each time there was an encouraging Ian helping us out with the information we needed.
